I've been with Cultural Care for years and years, but haven't found anyone that's inspiring this time around and I've been looking since March and am still at square one. In a perfect world I'd find a male Spanish speaking au pair that is very energetic (I have 2 boys that need to be worn out), but I'm more interested in the Spanish-speaking part of the equation. Can anyone recommend a different agency? |
Oh geez. This has been asked sooooo many times. Please search. |
Au Pair in America has the biggest pool.
Look up facebook groups as well. Good luck ! |
We've been very happy with Au Pair Care and have only found really lovely candidates so far. |
It does? I didn't see too many in the IQ pool... |
We switched to APC and have been very pleased. |
Fake news! |
I switched from CCAP to APC this year after 6 yrs.
It’s only because they had my “perfect” candidate. I have no loyalty because I look for the best fit. Only agency I won’t return to is APIA. They did me wrong. |
I have been very happy with GoAupair. You don't need the biggest pool, you need one quality candidate, and most of their candidates are great, and there is no cutthroat competition for them. |
New poster: is there anything different about APC? We've used CCAP and APIA, have strong reservations with both (CCAP matching is awful; APIA's coordinator in our area isn't very good). |
+1 - I have the same question, is it worth it to pay the $50 to sign up with them if I am already with another agency? |
From my experience - they have a good matching system - you can have three people selected for interviews at any time, and I have never met the kind of candidates that ask what the 'perks' will be. This leads me to believe that they are better at onboarding the candidates. But maybe I have just been lucky? We have just signed up for au pair #3 after 2 other great matches! |
If you are switching they will waive the fee. Worth it. |
