Hello! Our AP works before and after school and has 5 or so hours during the day free. She has taken a class, but now that the class is over, seems a bit restless. I wondered what other APs do during this middle of the day time....I put a list together for her of local things that align with her interests that she can do during her off time to help give her some ideas. |
1st AP: watch tv
2nd AP: go out to lunch with friends (she was out all the time) 3rd AP: laundry/hide out in her room (tv?) |
OP - thanks, I was wondering if I should be worried about her if she is not often leaving the house... |
Yes, you should encourage to go out more.
But if she still stays home after your advice then let it go. That means she's a homebody ... |
she may be trying to save money? |
Sleep. |
Ours do surprisingly little. In matching all of ours are excited to go to museums and explore. Once they get here the thing they seem to explore most is Netflix. Our current one goes to lunch/coffee shops and hangs out sometimes but even she usually doesn't do much. Doesn't bother me if that's how they choose to spend their time.

So. much. Netflix. |
1. Go to the gym
2.hang out with friends / go to movies 3. Spend time on internet doing whatever |
She stays up all night talking to friends back home then sleeps all day. Fine with me. She never looks or acts tired on duty so it must be working. |
I am pretty sure our last one skyped with people from home and played X-box. Went out for doughnuts. Probably also slept. The X-box was a bit of a problem because sometimes he was so engaged, he would be late picking child up from school. ![]() |
