I'm in the process of reading negotiating my work agreement, and I requested that my insurance be paid separate from my wage because I don't want to get tax on it. But my employer does not know how to proceed with this. What process does your employer do for you if you're in the same situation? Or what options do we have

Have your employer pay your insurance - no money comes to you.

My employer said they would cover $x. I found great insurance for $y. My employer deducts $y-x from my pay, pre-tax. I run the household card once per month, and email the stub.

In the past my employers have given me cash each month to cover it on the first of each month.

Employer should write a separate check to the nanny and write “insurance” on the memo line. That’s what the accountant said.
