OMG I don’t know what to do

Came to work today, mom is a stay at home mom with anger and mood issues
Today was just real bad
All morning the past three hours that I’ve been here
She’s done nothing but yell at the kids, it got so bad that she started throwing toys and
slamming doors. She’s always in a bad mood, but come on, today she went way to far.
I’m just sitting in the corner thinking what the ....
What should I do? I’m about to run and call the authorities
I mean I took the kids upstairs and kind of hid in a bedroom

I'm afraid she's done nothing-most nannies are weak when it comes to doing the hard stuff that the parents might not like.

Can you talk to her when she’s calm, or her partner, and explain that her behavior is not okay with you and, more importantly, devastating for her poor children? You simply cannot accept this as the norm, OP.

OP likely needs her job & knows that if she interferes, she will be canned on the spot.

Plus who can she call for a Mom having a bad day??

Just try to make the best of the situation for the kids.

In all honesty - I would look for another position w/a more stable employer.
The current one seems a little unhinged.
