I consider hairbrushes a personal hygiene item and was horrified to see AP casually pick up my daughter’s brush and use it.
Does it really need to be said: please do not use other people’s toothbrushes, hairbrushes, towels, and makeup??? |
I think you’re overreacting. I think using a hairbrush is fine. |
I got lice the first and only time I used my nanny-kid’s brush. Lesson learned, never again! |
I wouldn't be too happy about it either but wouldn't say anything since it's not that big of a deal.
You could bring her to the supermarket when you do the grocery shopping and take her to the brush aisle and ask her to get a brush if she doesn't have one. If she asks "why?", just mention you saw her use your daughter's. She'll get the message ![]() |
Makes no sense. |
[b] Sorry, do you have reading comprehension problems? My charge got lice from school, I had no idea and only discovered it the next day. I used her brush and got lice. Does it make sense now??? |
What is a charge? Is that a human being? Maybe say kid/boy/girl? |
^^ Clearly your new |
*you’re |
Dollar tree has hair brushes. Buy her a few. |
Just tell her to use her own. Apparently with her it does need to be said. |
NP. Full charge nannies have charges. They’re not my kids, and I refuse to run around saying they’re my “nanny kids.” They’re my charges, plain and simple. |
That's why we prefer au pair.. Never called kids charges, always calls them girls, kids or even "my girls". |
My sister is nanny in Honolulu. She has never uttered the word "charges" to me. |
