The 24th is a Monday. Same with the 31st? Are your employers giving you two four day weekends including Christmas Eve Day and New Year’s Eve Day? |
I’m taking two weeks of vacation. |
Yes, I have off both days. |
Yes I'm off the 20th to the 2nd, paid, and not counting towards vacation time. Between MBs schedule and family being in town. They even gave me my bonus early in case I wanted to book any travel or do anything that required pre planning during that time. I love my NF. Db and MB are very considerate and respectful |
I give two days at Christmas but only New Year's Day. The nanny and housekeeper can choose to take either Christmas Eve or the day after Christmas in addition to Christmas Day.
|
Yes but I had to ask for the days and was irritated when one family (nanny share) said they had to see first. Next time I’m putting it in my contract. |
Yes. Of course. |
I have Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Day as paid holidays. They didn’t want to give me New Years Eve in my contract for whatever reason. I think MB has to work that day. But I took off the week between Christmas and New Years and they were fine with that. Can’t wait! |
We gave it off in the contract. Every year we look at when all the holidays fall and figure out which days make sense to have off in addition to other days. This year Christmas Eve makes sense to have off since it's a Monday and my husband and I are off as well. In previous years I think our nanny has worked the morning of Christmas Eve if it fell on an odd day, but honestly I can't remember that far back. |
I work half-days on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve if they fall on weekdays. I get the two holidays off, and if they fall on a weekend, either the prior Friday or following Monday off. |
Christmas and the day after are holidays for me. |
