Anyone know where to suggest that our au pair get a flu shot in MoCo? I’d really like her to get it because see have young kids but not sure that her very minimal insurance covers it. |
Almost any CVS or Walgreens. Maybe you should offer to cover it? |
You should absolutely pay for it. |
Our AP tried at a bunch of pharmacies but none took her Erica insurance, so I paid for it - it was $25. You should definitely pay for it. |
You can't force her to take it. I would have refused.
You will probably reply that you would rematch if the AP refuses. My body, my choice. |
Well I’d rematch for low IQ then |
I know this is meant to be an inflammatory post, but there is some truth to it. If getting a flu shot/Tdap or anything else important to you, please mention at when you interview. We have always just sent our APs to a CVS and gave them $25 for the flu shot. |
Low IQ? Why are you talking like this about yourself? But I'm glad you are happy the way you are. It's okay to be different. |
OP here. Calm down, everyone. I’m not threatening to rematch if she doesn’t. I would just prefer it, and I think she would like to get it too (she mentioned that she usually does in her home country). I’ll pay for it. |
This HAS to be the most puerile post I have ever seen on this website. Sounds like it's coming from a 13 year old. I am all for flu shots and we tell our APs when matching that we want them to get them each year and that we pay for them. I wouldn't rematch if an AP refused but I have weeded out ones before matching who say they "don't believe in it".... |
No one in our family gets flu shots. My doc doesn't either. And we are a smart family. |
Evidently not. |
Sure doesn’t sound like it.... |
I always screen for willingness to vaccinate during matching. Along with other health and hygiene matters. |
If an AP said this to me in matching I would disqualify her because she’s clearly a moron. |
