ok i just want to know my nanny work for 3years and i no longer nead her so i give her 4 week notice should i give her 2 week pay please let me know

What does your contract say?

If you gave her four weeks' notice and that's what's in your contract, you would pay her till the end of the four weeks and then that's the end--it would be appropriate and gracious to do a bonus at the end to thank her for her years with you (which might be anywhere from 1-3 weeks' pay).

If you don't have a contract to go by, four weeks' notice seems reasonable.

i did not give her nothing was that appropriate she was the best the kids love this was my first nanny so i did not know should i mail her a check

Yes, mail her a check or give it to her the next time you see her. And please work on your punctuation!

The reason I am asking is because your English language skills seem to be subpar.

Agreed. The nanny from the other thread asking about severance. She is clearly pissed she received no severance or ending check even though she was not entitled to it.

Op, you are the same poster as the other thread called “nanny question.” I understand you’re upset about not being appreciated, but let’s not get greedy here.
