... that your charge’s parents, your employers, are going to screw up with your charge when you aren’t there?

My charge is 2.5 and just started morning preschool. I work four days a week and am never late picking her up. She is concerned that I will forget her and I always reassure her that I will never be late. This week, when I am off, her parents who are ALWAYS late are going to pick her up. I am worried they will be late and she will think they forgot her. Pick up is one specific time in her day. If they are their traditional 20 minutes late, she will notice and be upset.

Yes, I worry. My DH has to be on the spectrum as he is always in another world or engrossed in his phone. He wouldn’t notice if my 4.5 year old charge ran into the street. He never holds his hand. It kills me to think about it.

Yes, I do. My employers are loving parents but don’t give a second thought to giving my toddler charge popcorn, whole grapes, whole cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, etc. Neither have taken CPR. They want to think of themselves as very easy going and free-range...

Yes, I worry and never buy any of the above before a weekend when I am not there to cut the items for the child.
