Leaving a Nanny Share

What's the proper etiquette for leaving a nanny share? How much time to give both the other family, and the nanny?

What does your contract say? I'd tell the other family first and let them decide if they want to keep the nanny and look for a new family or if they will do something else all together.

This. Give the other family a couple of weeks if possible, but give your nanny enough time to look if she's going to need to find a new job, especially if this is for September. Our contract was 30 days, but we gave three months (and she knew the kids would be going to preschool since she had to fill out recommendations for them).
