Nanny Rate for travel with family

Nanny here!
I have been working for more than 8 years but never travel with any of the family I worked before.... they will paid for my good, airplane tickets I’ll share the room with my charge.... flat rate ? Hourly rate? Help!

I do a flat travel day rate for any part of a traveling day (so if we leave on Sunday at 10 PM I still charge for the full day). $350 for the day and paid in cash.

First, make sure they also pay for your meals as well as activities you will be attending w/the child.

I recommend a daily, flat rate.
Considering you will be sharing a bedroom w/their child, I would also charge an overnight flat fee unless the parents will be nearby so that they can take the child should the child not sleep well away from their home.
