| Just started job searching for a summer/early fall start. They are having a 25% off sale this weekend. Is it worth signing up? I would probably do the 3 month package. Thanks! |
| I never had membership and I got maybe in total 3-4 responses back from families in the last 2 years. I find it unreliable. I found my current job through a local online nanny group. I find it odd to pay a fee for looking for a job. Especially when there are other ways to finding nannying jobs. |
| Yes. I think it is worth it. I got three job offers after joining premium membership and the one I chose I didn't even apply for - my employer found me. |
+1 Totally agree. What is the local nanny group? I also find care.com to be unreliable. I’ve found positions (without paying for a membership) but honestly finding good families on care is like finding a needle in a haystack. Most of the families on there are looking for cheap care/looking for a deal while demanding the most. |
Not if you do a premier membership. I've gotten all of my positions in the last five years on care.com - a weekend job with a very wealthy family at $25 an hour and then a full time job, my current position, with a wonderful and generous family at $27 an hour plus healthcare. |
| I find very nice family ( my current employer ) through care.com. |
