Chicago Area Nanny Rates?

What rate should a career nanny expect in the Chicago area for one baby, either after taxes or without having taxes withheld? No special degrees, just a good career nanny with good references. Thanks.

How many years of experience do you have? I’m assuming you are new to the area. If you are a career nanny, you are going to want to have taxes withheld, besides that it’s the law. Now on to your question, for one child you should probably expect to gross $16-18 a hour.

Chicago nanny here. For one infant child, it’s $15-16 net.
