Hi ,
I am trying to find a job . I am trying through care.com. Every day I apply for almost 20 jobs but rarely I get response.I didn’t pay on care.com. Do you think that could be the reason? I have very good profile on care.com. Thanks |

I did pay for the "upgrade" (or what ever it is called) and got immediate responses so employers were seeing my applications.
Yes, I would pay if I were you. And make sure you have a good picture. |

Don't pay.
The parents pay. You should not. |
If she is not getting any responses - she has to do what she has to do. Pay to be more visible, OP. I did and had my choice of jobs. |
| Great advices thanks guys for always being helpful |
| Care has a history of enrolling nannies in automatic payment and not letting them stop when they want to do so. I refuse to pay. |
| When I was on care.com I would give them my email (I created a email for jobs only) and I would get emails from parents. |

Sorry Nanny....
But it is the overall nature of business. You gotta spend money to make money. |
Bull. I’ve never paid for a single membership, and I have used five sites. I’ve gone through one agency, and I certainly wasn’t charged. I’ve never paid to run my own background check, and since I’ve worked as a nanny, I haven’t paid for my own CPR/first aid class. My employers pay for classes on parenting and/or discipline, their choice of class or mine. My employers paid for Nannypalooza, and I chose not to attend any other conferences this year, although they offered. |
