Sunday night - and looking forward to Monday morning! RSS feed

This is why I love being a nanny - I can't wait to go to work tomorrow morning! I miss my little charge and she always has so much to tell me on Monday mornings. She is almost two and I have been her nanny since the day she was born. We will have our usual full week of classes, play-dates and a couple of errands (she loves grocery shopping as long as the "gentleman not talk on loud speaker"). I picked up a couple of new books for her this weekend that I know she will like.

In all of my other jobs and careers, I felt mild dread on Sunday night. I feel so lucky to have found my true calling in life! I fricking LOVE being a nanny!

I love my charge and was with him since birth but Im not looking for Monday!

I love staying home and spend lot of time with my son who is 9 years old. We watch movie, doing grocery, practice his music, baking cooking and many more!

That's great you love your job. Too,many stories of people being so negative saying they hate their hot/family.

I love my family and I love my weekends - but I also love going to work Monday morning! I love being a nanny, too!

Mondays are always happy days! How could they not be when you have a little body run to you - so excited to see you - and give you a huge hug?!

"When you work with children, you are always working on the side of the angels." Yeah, I love being a nanny.

I look forward to Mondays and seeing my charges, hearing anything that happened over the weekend, hearing what they want to do. I don't look forward to dealing with the repercussions due throwing out the schedule and rules over the weekend.

It is a very lucky family who has you as a nanny, OP. I envy them.

That’s great. I hope my nanny feels the same way about my toddler daughter who adores her and looks for her on Saturday mornings.

I feel the same way! I just posted on my social media: "While most people are dealing with the Sunday night blues, I can't wait to see "my" kiddos tomorrow!".
