| As the question states really. |
| Yes, I admire and respect my DD's nanny so much - yes, it matters to me that she likes me. |
| I only have a 8 hour a week nanny (Saturdays) but I know she doesn't like me. I think I intimidate her as I am confident and outgoing and she is quiet. She loves my son but we are not close and it doesn't concern me as I know she loves on my kid and that's all that matters. |
| As long as they can fake liking me well enough that I believe it, that's good enough. I'd fire someone who worked in my home if I really felt they didn't like me. |
If I had a dime for every time I heard an unlikable person say it was because others were intimidated them, I would be a very wealthy woman now. |

Yes, it matters to me. Nanny is my son's closest relationship to anyone outside the family - he says that Nanny is his best friend - and I would be very upset if I found out that she didn't like me.
Why do you ask, OP? |
Sure. But it matters to me that lots of people like me - sometimes too much. But certainly for someone who is in my home everyday and charged w/ the most important people in the world to me, I'd like her to think I'm generally ok!

Of course it matters to me. I love her so I hope she at least likes me!
Why are you asking, OP? Are you a nanny or a mother? |
