What does your nanny do that impresses you and makes you glad you hired her?

What sets her apart from other nannies you've had?

Please be specific!

My DD's nanny is happy - she is a joy in our home. DD is blossoming - bright, polite, generous - mostly because of her nanny.

Aside from her loving care of my child, our nanny makes my life easier. She is a gift.

Nanny is our first and only nanny - hopefully will be our only nanny until DD and her future siblings can drive!

She's loving, super punchsl( comes early every day). Very chill, older, no drama, just takes care of things without stress or any complaining. Laundry, baby dishes, dirty butts, etc. snuggles with her and deals with snot when dd is sick. Very sunny and positive personality and dd catches that and is also happy all day with her. She is a big believer in being outside as much as possible. They go on long walks to the playground and park every days unless it's pouring or really windy.

She is reliable and mature. I can trust her to make good decisions in my absence. She actually raises the bar of expectations higher in my household (in a good way).

She loves my child and is very attentive to his needs -- probably more so than we are, as we have an older child as well (she only takes care of the baby).

And, there isn't anything that she won't do around the house. We never asked her to do anything except for baby laundry, but she has taken it about herself to do a lot of things that make our lives so much easier. If she sees something that needs to be done, she does it.

She is really, really reliable. She is unflappable, no matter how annoying my 4 kids get. She's smart, and will figure out what to do without asking me if I'm not there. She's a genuinely good and generous person with her family and friends, and a great role model for my children.

She thinks poop/burp/potty jokes are hilarious, and enjoys board games, two things I can't stand.

DS's nanny is the most positive and happy presence in his life. She feeds his imagination in ways that DH and I never could. It is truly joyful to watch DS and nanny play. She reads to him every time he asks - which is so much!!! I could not do what the nanny does in a million years. We are truly blessed to have her.

She also is older, no drama, always smiling and loves my kid.

Nanny makes DD's life better than it would have been if I stayed home with her! And she makes my life easier.

I truly love this woman. We are blessed to have her in our lives.

She possesses the greatest sense of humor than anyone I have ever personally known.

She has my kid in stitches all day.

Plus she is older (48), has zero drama issues & does not think of her iPhone as her 5th limb.

She has so much energy.
She always takes my child on a daily outing and she loves to play + interact w/my child!
The house is always picked-up when I arrive home and my child is always in a great mood too which is the most important thing in my opinion!

We've only ever had one nanny. We did half day trials with two other nannies but DH liked this one the best. This one really likes our dog. As in, when it's nap time the nanny is playing with or petting the dog. Also, reliability is HUGE. Both in time and temperament. Not on cell phone.
