Would that be a red flag? It seems really immature to me.
Here's an example: I charge $30 a day!! I can do 3 days a week for $75!! Ok you only need 2! Maybe in the future you can do 3! |

Seinfeld episode.

Lol! Maybe they're excited! Or desperate! Is this a home daycare!? |
Yes |
I've seen a lot of those posts on Craigslist with a bunch of !!!!!!!! Maybe they're just trying to grab your attention or do not know how to use the exclamation point correctly. |
| It means they're an idiot. Move on. |
Aren't you a bucket full of sunshine and rainbows. |
+1000 |
| Nanny here. That doesn't sound professional ... but it doesn't mean they're not good caregivers. |
| Not everyone is a grammarian. If that's the only problem, accept it and move on. |
| I worked for a man who used nothing but CAPS and !!!!!!! After everything !!!! I would produce the work he requested, and it would be returned weeks later with many comments, all CAPS and !!!! One positive comment, one time, and that received a (.). Otherwise, he would leave 20-25 voicemails a day, in various states of !!!!! Ten years later and I get anxiety at the ringing of a phone. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE !!!!!! |

I'm triggered by your offensive post. Most nannies are immigrants and English is their second or third language.
Are you better then the person who wrote the ad? How would you like it if someone judged you in a public forum? It is easy to be a judgemental bitch under the cover of annomity. |
No one said anything about race here. I'm not OP. I'm Asian American I speak 3 languages and former nanny. I'm one to call out racist posts but this doesn't show any of it. Get a snickers. |
I didn't mention race either. |
|
I don't think it's necessarily about race, but rather about proficiency of the English language.
OP's example seems like it could be from somebody in the process of learning English. Whether or not that effects their ability to care for your children is up to you. |
