nanny health insurance contribution?

| I'm curious about what families in nanny shares do regarding contributions to a nanny's health insurance costs? We currently have 50 hours guaranteed per week, $20/hour ($10/family) with the remaining 10 hours @1.5x rate. We pay over the table, so this is pre-tax. We do not make a contribution now, but I am trying to understand what is a reasonable contribution and what other families in the area do. Thanks! |

| We pay 100% of a $300/mo policy. My plan was to contribute $250 toward a policy of her choice, but then I decided this was close enough, and I just pay for it. If the cost goes way up next year, we will either get a more bare bones policy, or only contribute $300, and it won't pay 100% anymore. |
