Are you advertising in the same places you always have been?
My guess is that while you are open to kids of any age, parents of babies and toddlers don't really want school-aged children in the share, and the percentage of people with school-aged children who would prefer a nanny over aftercare is not as large as those looking for a full time nanny.
Even though it seems counter-intuitive, it would probably also help if you knew which hours you are looking for. I've advertised for a PT nanny with flexible hours before, and had fewer responses than when I listed the hours. I think people do better when they can see something like "Nanny Share, M-F 2-6, includes school pick-up and homework," or something like that. And then you can say "times negotiable if needed."
