I have been nannying for a new family for last few months. I like my job but there have been some issues lately about behavior with the children. They do not listen to me or the parents. They feel that it has gone too far and do not believe the girls have respect for me any longer. I am wondering is it best to try and fix the situation or is it best to cut ties?

None of us can answer this. What do the parents say? If they expect you to fix this on your own, I'd say too far gone.

You three have to come up with a discipline plan and each stick w it and be consistent.
I'd ask them both for 10 mins to speak about what to work on with kids, what values and consequences do they want to instill so you can help that along.
But they have to be instilling the same ones, otherwise the kids will go to the weakest link and whine and cry for their way.

If the family won't agree on values or approach, of buying to what you recommend, I'd consider leaving I guess.
