| Sorry don't know what else to title this. So tonight I babysat for a couple of hours so the parents could go out on a date. This was the first time ever meeting both parents and the child (3 years old). Within 10 minutes of his parents leaving, he tells me, "your grandma Marilyn says hi". I do have a grandma Marilyn who died in 1994, when I was 3. I did not know what to think, so I changed the subject. A few minutes later he says, "your grandma is still here". Kinda freaked out, I just redirected him again. I am spiritual, but also skeptical at the same time, if that makes any sense. Do you think this child has some kind of gift or it's just a weird coincidence that he mentioned my grandmothers name? Gave me the chills how he said it so matter of fact. |

| Children are very spiritual and yet as they age, they often lose that in themselves. It may have been a coincidence or he really could have seen your grandmother. |

| They had just moved to the area and are only a little older than me, so extremely unlikely they knew my grandmother. I didn't mention anything to the parents because I had just met them and didn't want to freak them out because I don't know their beliefs. |

| It's not necessarily something you have to believe or disbelieve but tuck it away in your back pocket as something interesting that happened. I'm open to the possibility of this type of thing being genuine, particularly when it's from a child. |

I think this kid has a gift.
I would be scared and not go back to babysit him though if I were you 
Maybe you could talk about it to the parents ? I'm sure he's said things like that before. |

Maybe the OP will hook us up with the parents without mentioning any of this to the child or parents so we could get a free medium reading without having to go on the Long Island Medium show. I'm thinking the parents must know the child has this gift. I'm sure the babysitter is not the first person the child has done this with. |

bizarre. has he said this joke or non-joke to other people as well. see if he does it again! or ask more questions or speak through him to her (or try to... play along).
he may have seen a movie or read a book with a child seeing ghosts. |
