Just recently, I have begun to feel exhausted at the end of my nanny day. I've always been an active, engaged nanny and very engaged but this tiredness is something new. I have been with this family for the entire 18 months of my charge's life and have always narrated, read, sung, and run around to various classes and story times with her - so it is actually physically easier to care for her now that she is walking and talking.
What gives? I had a general physical last January and everything was fine. I eat and sleep the same. |

January 2017 or January 2016?
I any case, if this is unusual for you, and it lasts more than a couple of weeks, I'd go back to the doctor. Could be mono. |
Just this past January 2017. I don't have swollen glands or any other symptoms associated with mono. But thanks for responding. |
| Definitely have a workhu up. Could be a simple as low iron which is easy to fix. I'd ask to have a cbc plus check B, D vitamin levels. The cbc will check your iron. Both those vitamins can make you tired if low. If you're in your forties it could also be a hormone shift that can make you tired as well. Get checked, you don't have to feel lousy. |
| You probably need a vacation. When was the last time you had one? |

Iron levels? That's always my first suggestion.
How is your diet? are you getting enough water? enough sleep? |
