Anyone been a summer nanny in the Hamptons?

| Family wants me to go with them to the Hamptons for the whole summer June-September. I have a serious live-in boyfriend here that I don't want to just up and leave, but the jobs sounds tempting. He really wouldn't be able to visit due to his work. The Hamptons is 4.5 hours from where I live. Do you think I would get too lonely? Would you do it? Anyone BTDT? |

I have and didn't love it, but I don't love the Hamptons in general. It's a pain to get back and forth during the summer, but not impossible. I only worked M-Th, so had 3 day weekends, which did help a lot.
There are a lot of nannies in the Hamptons for the summer, but it can be hard to meet them depending on where you are based. |
