| This question isn't about nannies, but I don't know where else to post this. I've had my apartment cleaned on a biweekly basis in the past and am thinking of hiring weekly cleaners. We have a 3 bed / 3 bath and an individual cleaner typically takes 4-5 hours for a routine clean. This hasn't worked for us in the past because DD naps and I don't want the cleaning to overlap with her nap. I was thinking maybe a weekly clean would be shorter, but not sure how this works? Like don't they clean the same stuff at a weekly clean as they do on a biweekly clean so it would take just as long? Or would I ask the cleaner to alternate between areas, like bathrooms one week, bedrooms next to make the visit shorter? |
| Oh my, your life's complicated lol |
| Just have your nanny work it out with the individual cleaner. If it's four hours, then they need to be there by 9am in order to be out by 1pm for a nap. |
The cleaners I like (who clean well, have references) have limited availability so to my surprise, I haven't been able to find someone who can work around DD's naps. |
| I suggest hiring more than one person to clean since it takes much less time overall. |
| To Caos cleaners. We've been very happy. |

Ask them to come on Saturday mornings ...
You can go out to run some errands and for a stroll with your baby and when you come back your place is all clean. That's what we do. |
| Get a cleaning service. They will have like 3 people working together to clean and it goes much faster. They also are usually insured which is nice and can be more flexible. |
This. Three people do a good job on my 5 bed/3 bath home in less than two hours. Costs about $150/wk. |
