This is the question for the employers, and especially those that hire G5 nanny.
Are we obligated by law to pay G5 nanny on the weekly bases? My nanny prefers bi-monthly and monthly payments which also works for us.(So much easier to calculate, no?) Please let me know. I know that in the usual contracts it says weekly or by-weekly, but wondering if that is a suggestion or a law. THANKS. |

You are required to pay on a reasonably frequent schedule, and to make those payments on time as promised.
Biweekly or semi-monthly are considered standard pay periods, and are fine. |
| Thank you for the response. |
| You can pay weekly or biweekly but Us law says hours for overtime are considered on a weekly basis. That is, you can't use your nanny for 60 hours on one week and 20 hours another week and say that you don't owe overtime because the average per week is 40 hours per week. |
