I need a new nanny "uniform" RSS feed

I have been wearing black yoga pants and long turtleneck cotton tops. Very functional but I am getting tired of it. Any suggestions?

Wear a ball gown with slicked back hair and 5 inch heels. Seriously just dress appropriately/ comfortably based on the weather and activity you will be doing with the kids. Doesn't always have to be yoga pants.

Black yoga pants are the best. Hide all the stains the kids plant on you, stretchy and comfortable for floor play, easy to wash and don't stretch out at the knees. I like the boot cut the best although they are harder to find. Black socks (Bombas) and running shoes. Vary your tops, OP and add a few crisp white shirts and peasantry tunics.

Just never wear yoga pants with t shirts.

Long baggy sweaters, long button-down shirts (belted), dark jeans with print sweatshirts, etc.

I personally don't wear workout gear to work.

I wear skinny jeans, sweater, and ankle booties most days.

Always some combo of skinny jeans or.cords, sweater, blouse, cardigan, fun print scarf, ankle booties, flats, or snow/rain boots when needed.

I am in Southern California and extremely active with my charges. I also work 65 hours a week so my clothes have to be easy to care for. I echo the ease of yoga pants and good running shoes.

Start with different tops, OP, (but never t-shirts).

Anyone know of any good stretch jeans(I hate knee bulges when you stand up in reg jeans) that aren't Mom Jeans?

I wear long skirts most of the time, rarely pants or capris. To me, yoga pants are workout clothes, not work clothes. Others feel differently. You have to wear something that allows you to move, but it also needs to be at least somewhat professional.

I wear yoga pants or leggings paired with a nicer top. I have always hated jeans and skirts. I will wear long dresses in the summer and sweatshirts in the winter ( I live in MA). I don't care if my uniform is not always "professional". I am either on the floor, ground, dirt, mud, or snow all day. I get stains on me daily. I am certainly not going to destroy my good clothes. Mb agrees.

Mb here and I agree. Come ready to play hard. That's being dressed professionally.

^^^ exactly. I am an Mb and nanny dresses very casually, but always neat and clean. I know how hard she works and the conditions she works in. I would not want her to ruin her nicer clothes.

Ponte pants are my new go-to for not-yoga pants but with a little more put-together-ness.

In the summer, I wear dresses with bike shorts underneath and hiking sandals. If we go to a spray ground, my every day shoes are waterproof and I just wear a swimsuit under my dress instead of bike shorts/underwear. In winter, I wear the same dresses with leggings, calf height boots, and a cardigan.

What are Ponte pants, PP? I googled them and there seem to be a lot of manufacturers and a huge price swing. TIA
