| I work after school some afternoons for a family and find that MB keeps coming home really early and when I was ill the other day, she said I don't have to worry about coming in 'whenever you feel bad'. Kind of think they are trying to slowly ease me out and it bothers me that they clearly don't depend on me that much. |
| It's a job. The nature of the job is such that children grow up and don't need to be watched by an adult anymore. You need to get over it and move on. I don't mean that unkindly, but surely you DID realize this is the evolution of the job, right? |

Not very helpful PP.
How old is the child, OP? |
| She is 6 so it can't be that. |

Perhaps try speaking w/the Mother by letting her know that you are looking into the long-term & was wondering if you will still be needed by the family say....In a few months or longer.
Then see what the Mother responds + take the conversation from there. This will give your MB the opportunity to discuss their childcare needs w/you so you can plan ahead. Good luck. |
| Yeah why not tell them how u feel? Just say it or find a different job and quit. |
