How to explain moving to 4 yr old?

Hi all,
I dont do well with moving and we have a move coming up which sadly wont be our last. We are moving into a short term rental before we move into the house we plan to stay in long term. I have such guilt about this but the circumstances are out of my control. I want my kids to feel stable, comfortable and like they are settled in a home. None of which I feel myself right now, so how can I expect my 4 yr old DS to feel okay? If anyone has experienced moving like this with young kids and has any pointers, can you please let me know? Thanks! |
