Cost for nanny share, including everything

I have read the old posts on nanny share costs, but they often say things like "we each pay $12 per hour, plus social security." I am trying to work out a budget for when I go back to work and DD needs care (so that I can figure out how much I can afford in rent). Can anyone tell me about what a nanny share will cost me (in Arlington) per month? I will need about 50 hours of care per week, and I want to do it all above-board.

Start looking and ask about rates. No one people are identical in their expectations for compensation.

I don't need the nanny for another 6 months, so it's too early to start looking. I do need to start budgeting for it, though, so I'm looking for a ballpark. I'm in Arlington/Alexandria, if that helps you give me an idea.

Sum total will be about $2,000- 2,500 each family. Average $18-20/hour.
