Me:- a sweater (from bebe) - which i hate!, a small special fake leather bag for my cellphone ( I hate it too!). A hat (grrr super lousy hat!)

$1500 gift card for American Airlines with suggestion to take a trip anywhere I want to go next time they are gone for a week lol. Now if I hold out for a hotel gift card I'll be all set!
Also got some other minor things from the kids that are sort of regifts, such as a Jawbone bluetooth speaker I know MB got from an office event, etc. |

Sure, I agree that money $$ is the best Xmas present EVER,
however I would be grateful for whatever present I received from my Nanny family as long as it wasn't a re-gift. |

I got a $2000 bonus, a beautiful necklace, a book I've been wanting to read and a $100 gc to Starbucks. I would have been super happy with a card from them. They went above and beyond. |

| I got gift cards for clothing and a restaurant (totalling about 1/3 week's pay) and a framed photo of the kids. I got a weeks' salary bonus a few months ago at nannyversary so I wasn't expecting more than a small card and am honored and surprised. |

| For those on this thread who are listing amounts, probably better to list percentage of weekly salary so that it is a better indicator of what people give. Factors like whether a nanny is in a lower vs. higher COL area, works more or fewer hours, is part-vs. full-time or lives in vs. out all affect the rate, but the percentage indicates some industry-wide ballpark averages. |

Absolutely nothing. This is the first job I've ever had that hasn't given me a bonus or gift or some kind-i didn't even get a card, which made me sad, especially considering the baby has been very difficult and they know that. I gave them a really nice card , and presents for the baby.
Needless to say, this was kind of the nail in the coffin and I'm planning my way out. |
