I guess I am the opposite of the pp, and I would be surprised that I didn't know the age and living situation of someone I had hired either before I hired them or very shortly afterward. This just seems like basic information for someone you have such a close relationship with.

I'd never hire someone without knowing their age because I confirm legal working status, valid and clean drivers license, and a clean background check.
So I might not know with whom they live but I'd know plenty else. I think you're trolling for amusement. |

I personally am VERY SURPRISED that the OP left her children in the care of someone w/out doing a background check on them.
