Wedding gift for our beloved nanny?

We love our nanny and when she told us she was getting married in courthouse in August, we gave her a wedding gift, check for 500 dollars. Fast forward and she decided to do a wedding in a few weeks and invited all of us and the kids. Do I give her another check? If so, how much? She has been with us for 5 years. Thanks.

I would see where she is registered and pick something from that. Since you were very generous the first time around, I would pick something for around $100.

This. Or, if you can afford it, pick something off the registry that she isn't likely to get because of how expensive it is. If she is not registered, I would probably give a much smaller check than the first time around.

I agree w/ the prior posters. A nice gift from the registry (or something equivalent) and you certainly don't need to give another large chunk of money.
