| I'm helping our wonderful former nanny to find a new position and am seeking suggestions on agencies that might help her to find a new family. (I've already posted information about her on several area neighborhood listservs and the appropriate DCUM forum.) I'm familiar with White House Nannies, but don't know if there are other well-respected agencies out there. She's looking in Montgomery County or NW DC. Thanks! |

White House is no longer well respected.
Have you mentioned this to everyone you know? "Leave no stone unturned." Mention it on Facebook. Be like a marketing expert. That's all these agencies do. Marketing to parents, but not much counseling about how to maintain a good nanny relationship. |
| Westside nannies is in LA but has some dc jobs. It is a well respected agency too and will do interviews over Skype |
I agree that Westside Nannies is a respectable agency, much more so than White House. |

I don't know, but I would not use whatever agency householdstaffing.com is associated with. I recently received a reference call from them to ask about our former nanny, and I was absolutely horrified at their "screening" process. They barely asked any questions.
I used to operate an agency and it literally made me feel ill to know that people were trusting them to thoroughly vet references. |
| Most agencies have become scam operations. |
| I'm curious why White House Nannies has lost it's reputation? |
| So if White House is no longer a good agency, what are the good ones? |
