Care for one infant.
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 am to 6 pm. Outside of baby care only asking for help with baby's laundry. |
$20-23/per hour. |
Somewhere between 18 and 22/hr depending on exact location and experience level. |
Hi op. We pay our PT nanny $17/hour for one child. She has 20 years of experience. That was the salary she requested. $20 plus per hour for one child seems unusually high to me. |
Where are you located? What are your expectations of your nanny as far as qualifications (i.e. driving, her/his own car, CPR trained, etc)
We are in Arlington and my impression is that for a legal, driving, experienced nanny I think $18-20 an hour would be the going rate for one infant in this situation (long hours, only a few days, no overtime). But that's just a guess, I know some people who have paid less. |
Depends on who you want and what her rates are. |
$15-$17 |
Anywhere between 15-18 depending on the location. |
You're likely to need to pay more for such a part time position.
For fulltime (50 hours a week) I have paid $15-17hr for two children (since infancy). For part-time I would expect to have to pay at least $20/hr to get the kind of care I'd like. |
