So tired of wasting time going to interviews, parents changing their minds, not knowing what they really need or want or the gem I just finished emailing that wants someone for 35 hours a week offering $250-$300 weekly. Hopefully this will all be over soon

Not everyone makes a good nanny, you can't always trick people into hiring you.

No one is tricking anyone into anything. Simply people not knowing what they need or want or can't afford.

It only takes 1 awesome family to hire you. Keep your head up and keep trying.

Exactly. All they know is they can't do it themselves.

Are you using Craigslist in your search OP?

The reason I ask is because when I was interviewing for jobs, it was usually the CL families who tended to be more fickle + flaky.

My best guess was that since they didn't invest anything in their search, they didn't take it as seriously as the families that did pay a little something to actually find me.

Regardless, keep your head up and keep the faith.

You will find your dream family soon.
