I am sharing this information about hiring a nanny. Many parents are wondering if you are REQUIRED to pay benefits for your nanny. IT IS NOT LEGALLY REQUIRED TO PAY BENEFITs PACKAGE TO YOUR NANNY. For those who would like to find out more please call 1-888-273-3356. IT IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE EMPLOYEES. Also, please understand if you will have a nanny for one year it is not really worth it. Like everyone other employee in the private and government sector we have a waiting period for our benefits to kick in, SO please do not allow caregivers to try to exploit you.
I am sharing some stories from parents who hired nannies.
PARENT A- told me she is pays her nanny 16.00 per hour and 40 hours per a week even though she works about 30-35 hour per a week. She said the nanny refused to take the child to the park or do out door activates with the child.
PARENT B- Hired a nanny who pays her 17.00 per hour. The nanny refused to follow the instructions of parents. When parents spoke about the child being, the nanny threaten to quit. This nanny always ask for more extra money, saying she has bills to pay.
More stories to follow. Thanks for reading.

Honestly I have a very hard time believing anyone at HomePay wrote this. My dealings with them for payroll have been completely professional, and they gave me good advice on the best way to provide health insurance for my nanny.

My experience with home pay has been awesome. Why would they talk bad about their client pool ?
