Found this, makes noooooo sense!
Looking for a live-in nanny/ housekeeper for our newborn. He will be going to day care during the day time, at which time you will do some housecleaning and pet sit our medium sized dog. You will have your own suite with attached full bath. |
| I assume this is someone who works long shifts, or has a lot of on-call time, and needs someone in the home if she/he has to leave when daycare is closed. |
| What is the issue? Did they just forget the pay? Or the fact that an infant will be in daycare despite there being a nanny home? I don't get it... |
OP here. They want a housekeeper during daycare, so why advertise for a nanny? If they have enough for a nanny/housekeeper and daycare, I don't understand why they don't keep the infant home with the nanny, then pay for a housekeeper separately. |
because they want someone to do small tidying on some days and bigger cleaning on other days i suppose. A lot of people don't have live in maids but a housekeeper or cleaning company that comes certain amounts during the month. Maybe they just want it clear that cleaning is done while the baby is in school and want it to stay that way after the kid is in real school later? I don't know... |
| Honestly why do you even care? You're not going to apply, so leave it alone. No one really cares. You shouod find better ways to occupy your time instead of searching these websites for job posts like this. It's just weird and annoying. Let it go and get a life please. |
| Well, how many nannying hours is it? sometimes both my husband and I work til midnight. I wouldn't expect a nanny to care for a newborn from 7 am til 1 am (including my commute time). |
