In response to all the nannies that just feel so entitled to bring their child to work and think its evil of parents to ASK them to care for their kids while being away from their kids.
Lots of people leave their kids to go to a job everyday. Why should nannies be any different. If you don't like it or can't handle it go into another line of work. I'm so sick of hearing about nannies expecting to bring their kids to work, get lunch provided to them, do their laundry at work, run personal errands , ect.... The amount of "nannies" I've come across who expect their bosses to allow their kids to be there all the time, expect their bosses to feed their kids and pau for outings. Do you have no shame? Seriously. Have professional work boundaries. |
| Its not a professional job. Its a service job that some have elevated to a higher status. |
Try doing your job without someone reliable to watch your kids, Bitch. |
Where exactly are you meeting people like this? |
| An obvious troll, people. Do not feed. |
Don't you know that there is dignity in ALL work? |
You don't deserve professional care, so you'll never get it. Simple. |
|
I'm not a troll. These are real issues that people think are fine.
Every job is professional. And what other service job let's you bring your child to work with you?? I'm just tired of meeting entitled nannies. |
You are trolling, whether you mean to be or not. Your post stereotypes nannies, addresses inflammatory issues that haven't been mentioned here at all recently, and it's condescending. It simply isn't reality that most nannies are demanding the right to bring their kid to work, and the ones that are don't have to answer to you or anyone else about their decisions. |
She's a bored troll. |
| OP, I think it's time to switch to decaf. |
| I agree there's a posting on the VA nanny share forum with the mom looking for another family so the nanny can bring in more income so 2 share kids and nannys kid altogether. That's not professional nor is it fair to the 2 parents actually paying for half assed care. if nanny wants to earn more she needs to leave her kid at home |
