Nanny-versary

Our nanny's 1 year anniversary is coming up! We plan on giving her a raise with a card saying how much we appreciate her. What else can we do? Flowers?

An annual bonus with her raise would be incredibly thoughtful. I'd consider doing that instead of the flowers.

I don't plan to spend more than the cost of the flowers, so if I round up to $30 would nanny be happy with that vs. flowers? At least flowers are pretty for a week or so, $30 won't last long.

I love fresh flowers, but also a manicure. You know her, so go with the flowers. It's really very thoughtful of you.

While flowers are a lovely gesture OP, some people such as myself are not really into florals.

A better alternative might be a gift card to a good restaurant, coffee shop or massage parlor!

I don't give a gift card when I am giving a raise or bonus. Something personal is better. I think the flowers are a lovely idea.
