[flash] The title of this post says it all. I would disclose this to the nanny in our contract of course. |
Of course you may forfeit a good nanny if she isn't comfortable being stared at her whole work day. |
No.
I would not liked to be watched while I'm at work so I don't feel good about putting nanny cams in my home either. I'm not an especially anxious person and I had fairly immediate confidence and trust in the two people I have hired to be nannies for my kids. |
No, but I work from home. We do have cameras in the kids' rooms and the playroom that we can use as monitors. They are not set up to record, though they could be. She knows they're there, and has the app on her phone to see them, too. |
Nanny here. I recommend them to parents. If there's any question about how a child was hurt, I can easily say that it happened at the playground and the parent can see that the child had the scrape when they got home, or I can give a time and room in the log, and it's up to the parent to check the camera or not. |
Too creepy for me. |
Yes, two. One in the kids bedroom and one in the common area (kitchen/dining room/living room. |
When we first hired a nanny for our infant, I had a nanny cam in the main area and told our nanny. I was a scared FTM.
I probably looked at it a handful of times in the first few months, and then let it go as I got more comfortable with our nanny and respected that she had no issue with it. Years have passed and I removed it. I told our nanny. She said she was fine either way. Just another reason she is great. |
