Who Made It To Work Today (No Shaming, Just Curious)

I went in for a half day but I live ten minutes away and the roads near me were clear. My employers urged me to do what I felt was best and not do anything to endanger myself.

Didn't go today. My employers are assholes and I'm just trying to get through my last two weeks working with them. I'm honestly not really interested in bending over backwards to help them, so I'll go back when they do.

I'm the OP of "Life after snow."
I was off today and I'm off tomorrow as well.
They just started plowing my road.
My MB told me a few hours ago to take another day off.
The kids are older and they will probably hang out with the neighbors (same age) anyway.
I got to FaceTime with them yesterday and today. They were having fun outside

I'm the OP. Sounds like we have similar families. I could have gotten out of going in today but I wanted to see my guys. A different kind of stir crazy than the families go through.

I was off. The roads near my MB were not cleared so I couldn't get through to them. MB let me take one of my personal days so I wouldn't have to park outside the neighborhood and walk in through the snow. Tomorrow I will go because I don't want to use all my vacation now, I only have 3 more days this year.

I made it in. DB cleared a spot in their driveway for me. MB and the kids were sick all weekend and was happy to get some sleep.

I had the same nanny for a long time and gave generous snow days- as soon as there was a flurry, she was ALWAYS unable to come in. For the last year, she has been occasionally babysitting for me and today her new family MB was off and and apparently told her to stay safe- she called me bright and early to see if I needed extra help today. Ironic, huh?

We follow OPM so home today and home tomorrow for me. I'm happy as the roads here are still barely plowed and iced up
