I will forever be blessed to have had the opportunity to work with so many amazing children. Each and every one of them has taught me what a college course could never do. Every little child comes with her own gifts and challenges, always ready for a brand new day of discovering how the world works, and learning how to integrate as a caring, productive member of society.
The better we are as parents and caregivers, the better the children will be, as they find their own path. Quality of care, especially during the zero to three foundation years, matters a lot. A whole lot. What we do now, can either help or hinder the child's chances of lifelong success and happiness. Let's keep doing our best work with these children, no matter how difficult or sometimes isolating, no matter how tired we may become after a long day, no matter how little some of their parents seem to appreciate our commitment to doing our very best. I am eternally grateful to every parent who has thoughtfully entrusted me, with the enormous responsibility of providing the best possible care for their child. They have supported what I do, knowing that meeting the needs of their child in the best possible way, is always my number one priority. ~A very devoted nanny PS. Thank you again for the generous Christmas bonus. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and generosity. I hope to be available to work with your child for as long as needed. |

Agree and love this...
However a college degree in Early Childhood Education or Development would help you teach your charges rather than be taught by them. Please do not devalue education in our profession. |
