Payroll company suggestions - Nanny lives in MD, works in DC

Hi all -
Any suggestions for a payroll company? I tried Intuit, but the don't work so well with a nanny living in MD but working in DC. A few more details - the nanny would like to pay her own income taxes (so no withholdings).

You have to withhold SS and Medicare, she can do state and federal (and local if required) herself if she wants. I don't know of any payroll companies which don't do tax withholding though, and I would be suspicious that a nanny might be trying to circumvent the law.

Not your problem if she doesn't file taxes. You have no obligation to withhold federal or state taxes. Only to file them if you withhold. You do have to withhold the ss and fica as noted.

Yes - and so long as you give them a W-2 it is the IRS' issue collecting if they don't pay.
