How hard is it to send a text/email to a potential nanny and let her know about your decision? RSS feed

Seriously.

If we apply for a job and if we can go to the interview, you can send a damn text if you choose someone else.
Respect us.
Don't disrespect us.

A text to let a nanny know that the interview is cancelled because you decided to hire an earlier candidate should also be expected.

Because they are idiots that's why.

That complaint could be said, and is said, of many fields. If you aren't chosen, many companies don't even bother to tell you.

Most companies let you know not to come if the interview is cancelled! It's incredibly annoying to be waiting for the phone interview or to go to the public place to meet the parent and be stood up!

I find this rude too.

If I take time out of my busy schedule as well as put mileage on my car to go out and meet with you and the family, often staying between a half hour to a full one, the least someone can do for me is send me an e-mail or text letting me know what they have decided.

It also makes my own job search so much more easier.
