Has anyone given their nanny a non- disclosure agreement? I ask because my previously nanny hated me, and after I let her go I found out from other local nannies that she spreaded my family's personal business amongst the other nannies. She went as far as taking a family photo to the park to talk trash about my husband and I. We've treated this woman with nothing but respect, and her disrespect and sense of entitlement is what got her fired. Now I'm dealing with her threatning other nannies who has interviewed to work with us!
I don't know what to do! |
Get off the internet and write a novel. See-through trolling is see-through. |

Call your lawyer, troll, and get a recommendation for the best shrink in town. GL. |
I don't know if you are a troll or not but I have always worked for high profile families and have always signed a nondisclosure agreement (which also prohibits me from ever taking or posting any photographs of their children). |
Yes, our contracts always have nondisclosure and nondisparagement provisions in them. |
So other posters realize that this is a fake post and don't waste their own time replying. It's a public service. |
I would get a restraining order or a gag order on this psycho path.

Excuse me, but if you didn't have a non-disclosure and non-disparagement agreement, that's on you. If she's lying, sue her for libel, otherwise, nothing you can do.
I always have a non-disclosure/non-disparagement agreement, but it's dual for family and nanny. The only exceptions to discussing the other party is while job seeking, and the non-disparagement clause is still in effect. I also serve as a reference for new nannies, and have served as a personal reference for a former DB when applying for a new job. |
What do you have to hide? |
I don't know many people, let alone just nannies who would go though all the trouble of bringing a photo to the park just to talk shit. Unless you were awful employers? Maybe you should re evaluate why you think you were so awesome? |
