Nanny Share: Age Difference? RSS feed

Would greatly appreciate some nanny-perspective. We are considering doing a nanny-share with another couple who has a 7-month old. Our baby will be a 3-month old. Does the 4-month difference cause any issues that we should be aware of?

Thanks!

Of course not.

No, not just four months. Even if the babies were the same age there could be a four month difference in development (crawling, walking, etc). Not a big deal.

And actually, your baby will be the one who benefits the most between the two developmentally.

Two babies are always a ton of work. That's why if a mom has twins on her own, you know she needs help.

Can you afford to wait a year?
