For the previous two years, our wonderful nanny has provided child
care for our son and another neighborhood couple's child. All of us, especially our two-year old, love his nanny, but our son and his nanny share partner start preschool in the fall. That said, we are expecting our second child in October, and want to make sure we don't lose our nanny, so we are looking for another family with a newborn who needs a nanny for the next 2-3 years. Our ideal nanny share partner will live in the AU-Park/Tenleytown neighborhood of DC, needs child care starting around the first week of October, and will be just a few months old when he/she starts the nanny share. The best part for your child is that he/she will get individual attention (at half the price) for the first few months until our newborn daughter needs childcare near the end of 2015. Our nanny is very experienced and has worked for several families in the area and can provide references (other than us). She is extremely loving and patient with our son, and has been terrific at every stage of his very young life. We always hear her talking, singing, and interacting with the kids, and couldn't be happier to have her in our lives. She is paid by the hour and typically receives overtime at 1.5x her average rate, and averages 10 overtime hours a week. She has paid vacation and Federal holidays. We are in charge of tax withholding and use a service (Breedlove) to assist with tax and payroll. If you are interested in discussing a nanny share with us, please email chadagoldberg@gmail.com |
