Pot brownies left out

So I was caring for my charge today when I decided to help myself to an ordinary looking brownie. Within an hour I was vomiting and having extreme anxiety. I called my boss to come home and she said "you didn't eat the brownies did you?" WTF yes I did. They were in a regular container on the counter. I am so upset and wanna quit because that is so irresponsible. What if I had given them to the kids? I just don't know what to do... I have been with them for three years.

I'm sure she feels very guilty. She should have labeled them. Everyone I know of who cooks with pot (butter) puts the food up high and labels it very distinctly.

You feed brownies to your charges? You know that brownies are all sugar and fat right?

Also don't eat things that aren't yours.

Lastly pot wouldn't make you throw up.

It isn't unusual to give children brownies. She's been with the family for 3 years. I'm sure it isn't a big deal that she would help herself to a cookie or brownie.
Ingesting marijuana will ABSOLUTELY make you nauseous, especially if you never have eaten them.
It can make your stomach very upset.
Perhaps you should know what the hell you are talking about prior to opening your mouth.

MB obviously feels terrible. This was a mistake (if it happened), a big one, but a mistake none the less. It will never happen again so unless there is some larger underlying issue, I'd say you need to get over this one. Not worth quitting, IMO.

If marijuana brownies were made with sativa strains, they can cause anxiety if you consume too much. Vomiting is common if you ingest too much weed. It's not like smoking it. I'd be surprised if this is true, tho. Who leaves this stuff out with kids around. You hide it under lock and key.

Lots of very sick people benifit greatly from marijuana products, which is why medical marijuana is legal in many states now.
