At the Red Cross - but it is never free.

I think sometimes you have free English classes taught by volunteers. But you always pay for CPR.

I concur.

Though once a year in my city, San Diego there is a free CPR course offered.

I am not sure how good it is since it is offered as a free group event and taught to hundreds at a time.

If your boss is requiring you to become CPR certified, then she should cover the cost(s).

No, I have seen postings on care.com where the potential employers have offered to pay for CPR classes and vaccines. I'm sure my employers would pay if I asked them to.
